HardingPoorman Group was pleased to send ten employees to the United Way Annual Meeting on March 22nd at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, and, for the second year in a row, was honored to receive the “Company That Cares” Award.
The “Company That Cares” award is annually presented to organizations that use best practices in workplace giving. Bestowed by United Way of Central Indiana, this award recognizes companies who support UWCI’s goals, programs and purpose to help make a positive impact in central Indiana. HPG was specifically cited for “Largest Increase in Overall Giving,” during 2010.
HPG was also the runner up for United Way’s “Most Creative CEO Award” (see YouTube video here) and was named one of the “Breakthrough Campaign” Award winners as well. The “Breakthrough Campaign” award is given to companies who have a 30% increase in giving over the previous year.
President/CEO of HPG David Harding was “Thrilled to see our staff take on the United Way challenge as their own and exceed all expectations. We could not be more proud of our team!”
As a locally owned and operated company, HardingPoorman Group understands the importance of investing in the greater Indianapolis community, and is pleased to join United Way work with proven human service agencies to help direct and fund life-changing opportunities for Hoosier families.
