Just unwrapped: HPG’s newest, greenest truck

Actually, it’s just been wrapped (newly applied graphics) – as well as unwrapped – since the truck is HPG’s newest team member. Sure, it’s nice looking. But this baby is also a real workhorse – with a truly green soul.

Green?? You betcha! At HPG, we live and breathe green, from our low-energy warehouse lighting to recycled paper stocks, UV inks to our business water and heating usage – even our cleaning supplies. So when we needed a new truck, it had to be green as well.

This mean, green, delivery machine has a DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank which is currently required in all of the new diesel trucks in California.

The diesel exhaust fluid compound will be added (similar to filling gas in the tank) every 1600 miles the truck travels, which will help neutralize NOx emissions.  DEF is an organic non-toxic compound made of 32.5% urea and 67.5% de-ionized water for maximum friendliness to the environment.

When our truck makes deliveries to your business, you’ll get your printing job on time – and in the greenest way possible. Pretty nice way to wrap up your printing, wouldn’t you say?
