At the HardingPoorman Group, our customers’ print jobs, paper and print products contribute positively to conservation efforts, responsible paper and forest management.
Here are a few of the ways we are trying to do our part:
- We are a certified Green Power company through Indianapolis Power and Light, making a commitment to purchase renewable energy for 100% of our operation.
- We recycle many of our production wastes such as make-ready and overage paper and plastics from our presses and even the rubber blankets used in the print process.
- We also offer a wide array of recycled printing paper including our house stock.
- We practice what we preach in the office workplace too, recycling plastic bottles, cans and office paper – right down to replacing Styrofoam cups with washable ceramic coffee mugs.
Across the country, more and more printers are improving efforts to recycle and reuse. But despite this movement, just 35% of current printing needs are met using recycled paper or plastic fiber nation-wide. As a leader in the printing industry, and a member of the Indianapolis community, we’re proud of our commitment to responsible, green printing.
