Press Feeder Operator  (2^nd Shift)

Our Press Feeder Operators are an important part of keeping our pressroom running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside a Press Operator on our 28" or 40" presses, loading paper, setting up jobs according to specifications, monitoring quality, and helping keep production moving. You’ll also perform basic equipment maintenance and help maintain a clean and organized work area. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Printing experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and wants to learn. This can be a great opportunity to build your skills, learn the printing process, and grow into more advanced production roles over time.

Preferred qualifications: Previous printing, manufacturing, or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required. This position involves frequent standing and movement, bending and climbing steps, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Warehouse Associate

Our Warehouse Associate helps keep materials moving throughout our busy print production facility. In this active, hands-on role, you’ll use forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, and other equipment to move paper and materials to presses, cutters, and other production areas. You’ll also help keep materials organized, restock supplies, manage scrap and recycling, and work closely with different departments to make sure production has what it needs to stay on schedule. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience is preferred, and forklift experience is strongly preferred. If you take initiative, enjoy being part of a production team, and want to keep learning, this role can be a great starting point for growing into machine operation or other skilled production positions at HardingPoorman.

Preferred qualifications: Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience and forklift experience. This position requires frequent standing and movement and the ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lbs.

Shipping Associate

Our Shipping Associate helps make sure finished jobs get where they need to go accurately and on time. In this hands-on role, you’ll coordinate day-to-day shipping activities, route drivers, schedule freight and recycling pickups, and use electronic pallet jacks, hand carts, and other equipment to safely move products through the shipping area. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and able to adjust priorities as needs change throughout the day. Attention to detail and good communication are important; you’ll work with drivers, freight carriers, and teams throughout production to keep jobs moving and schedules on track. If you enjoy staying busy, solving problems, and being part of a team that takes pride in getting the details right, this could be a great fit.

Preferred qualifications: Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related experience; basic computer skills; and experience safely operating material-handling equipment.

press operator  (2^nd Shift)

Our Press Operators are an important part of producing the high-quality print work our clients count on. In this role, you’ll operate a multi-color 40" press, manage jobs to specifications and schedules, monitor quality throughout the run, minimize waste, and perform basic equipment maintenance. You’ll also work closely with a press feeder to keep production running safely and efficiently. We’re looking for an experienced press operator who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable troubleshooting and making adjustments along the way. If you have multi-color press experience, enjoy working with equipment, and want to bring your skills to a team that values quality and craftsmanship, we’d like to hear from you.

Preferred qualifications: 5+ years of experience operating similar multi-color printing equipment.

Bindery Operator (2^nd Shift)

Our Bindery Operators help turn printed sheets into finished products that are ready for our clients. In this hands-on role, you’ll set up and operate equipment including cutters, folders, and stitchers while keeping jobs on schedule and meeting our quality standards. You’ll also perform basic machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, minimize waste, and maintain a safe and organized work area.

We’re looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Previous bindery or similar equipment experience is preferred, but we’re also committed to training and developing people who have the right foundation and are ready to grow their skills.

Preferred qualifications: 2+ years of bindery, print production, machine operation, or related experience
